"Salamat" means "thank you" in Tagalog and this series is a show of thanks to the generations that came before me. As a Filipino American, I feel it's important to preserve Filipino immigrant cuisine while being true to my own identity. Salamat Po will be a chance to understand the narrative of Filipino food from when it started on the islands to when it hits the plate in front of you. Culinary instruction, historical narrative, good eats, and great company. Come break bread with us!
