I have been raised in and around professional kitchens all my life. My father was a long time chef in San Francisco.
I started my cooking career as an Italian food chef at a restaurant in San Francisco Fishermans Wharf while I was in High school.
Today I have over 20 years cooking experience in New American, Italian, French.
My cuisine and concept is called International Soul Food. Afro Carribean Fusion with American Soul Food. I use Locally sourced products for optimum freshness. I cook Southern Style American Soul Food with Carribean and African Spices bringing new flavor profiles to old favorites.
I also do African food with New American and French Techniques.
I try and combine flavors and foods from all over the African Diaspora with Fusion to bring in something new with the feeling of something comforting.
International Soul Catering and Pop Ups have been successful in Oakland and I would love to bring my cuisine Back to San Francisco where I was born and raised.
