Hello everyone! Salaamu 'lekum! Welcome to Taste Africa In Style. On the map of Africa, we are now in Morocco, on the Northern part of the continent. One cannot cook African cuisine without cooking Moroccan dishes. Moroccan cuisine is one the most diversified cuisines in the world. The spices they use in their dishes, the flavors are wow! The moroccan lanterns are ready to be lighted Please join me on our Moroccan night, of music, flavorful Berber cuisine and more!

Harira lamb, chickpea, lentils stew. Everyone in Morocco is familia with Harira. It is eaten throughout the year but, I believe mostly more in the Ramadan month. In this version of Harira, I have, spices, preserved lemons, olives and more!
Moroccan Spices Carrots

These Carrots will keep you asking for more! Cooked with garlic, cayenne, paprika, cumin, cinnamon, lemon and cilantro. If I can find any figs, it goes in there too!

Chicken cooked in Tagine with apricot, almonds, olives,Ginger, Olives, Garlic, Carrots, Cauliflower, Lemons, Saffron, spices and more! This is another popular dish from Morocco. Just the thought of the Tagine is exotic, and the chicken is full of flavor! This is another one for the book!

Wow! This is delicious! Chickpeas, spinach, chard, cayenne, jalapeno, ginger, turmeric, paprika, cinnamon and fresh herbs, all come together to make a fantastic dish!

No bread, No eggs No problem! This is the only way I like my meatballs! This fantastic Moroccan meat balls is cooked in spicy tomato sauce, full of flavor, and it is just delicious. Served with sweet potato mashed and sauteed kale.

You just cannot have all these dishes without adding couscous to the meal. That would be a crime right? That is why I have added this beautifully cooked couscous with saffron, turmeric cilantro to the Menu. Now I believe our feast is almost complete!
