The beginning of Dungeness crab season is one of the best times of the year to be in the bay. Something about pulling those hulking monsters out of Ocean Beach's icy waters and warming my hands over a rattling, steaming pot makes Northern California feel like it's finally my home. The centerpiece of this menu celebrates my favorite local delicacy. Chilled, sparkling French chenin blanc will be provided along with sweet and savory sides. This menu will only be made once this year.
