In Thailand, vermicelli (khanom-jeen) is considered its own category of dishes similar to that of noodle soups. They can come topped with a variety of curries and broths depending on region and preference. Khanom-jeen dishes are rarely offered at Thai restaurants in the US. This is your chance to try these authentic dishes from my childhood. The meal includes vermicelli with two types of curries influenced by the central region of Thailand.
