These deep-fried turnovers represent the best Eastern European street food has to offer. Despite their popularity in Russia and Ukraine, Chebureki has nothing to do with Slavic cuisine. Its roots go deep into Crimean Tatar culture and spread across Turkey, Romania, and Central Asia. At this workshop, I will show you how to make beautiful flaky chebureki from scratch felled with juicy meat or cheese and herbs (your choice). A pro tip - chebureki taste incredibly good with a glass of cold beer!
