Indian spices are not only packed in flavor, but they have extraordinary health benefits. Everyone knows the adage, "If you eat well, you feel well."
This holistic way of cooking introduces you to the fascinating world of healing spices and herbs as well as learning how to use them in your cooking to derive maximum nutrition.
In this workshop, we will explore authentic, home cuisine from the spice-laden Indian culture along with the basics of Ayurveda (the ancient Indian approach to Holistic Health). You will learn how to eat according to individual body type by understanding Doshas, eating with the seasons and improving your digestive health with Indian herbs and spices.
Classes are Hands-on, completely Whole Food & Plant Based and include recipe handouts. We will also feast on all of the dishes together at the end of the class.

Crispy baked patties made with potatoes and healing spices which can be had as an appetizer with the Chutneys or served with the Chana Masala and Chutneys to make a delicious and savory entree called 'Chole Tikki.'

The versatile Chana Masala is an absolute favorite all over India and can be had with the Pilaf, the Patties or any bread of choice.
We will be cooking it with numerous healing herbs and spices to make it balanced for each Individual Dosha.

A delicious and flavorful digestive healing blend of herbs that adds a ton of flavor to meals.
Date Tamarind Chutney

A sweet and tangy chutney that enhances the flavor of meals and also helps ignite the digestive fire (Agni) when accompanied with meals.
