Ssam means to "wrap" in Korean. For this meal locally sourced beef, pork and vegetables will be grilled, roasted and steamed then wrapped in an assortment of leafy greens, kimchi, chillies and garlic. This is a communal meal meant to be shared while socializing and drinking makgoelli, a fermented, unfiltered rice wine!

Ssamjang Marinated Skirt Steak

Locally sourced beef, marinated in a fermented soybean paste (similar to miso), grilled and sliced thin. served alongside soy braised young potato, garlic confit and chrysanthemum leaf.
Pork Belly Bossam
Entree
Locally sourced pork belly, braised for 24 hrs then roasted crisp. served with fresh oyster and daikon radish kimchi and radish sprouts.
Spicy Kimchi Jjigae
Appetizer
Homemade sour napa cabbage kimchi stew with pork shoulder, soft tofu, green onion and steamed rice.
Steamed Mandu
Appetizer
Handmade pork and beef dumplings, mustard greens, tofu, soy and shaved raw onion salad.
