I was born and raised in Mobile, AL. After college, I decided to work in restaurants for extra money. Upon my first introduction to the world of wine, I was drawn to the study. As someone who never had the opportunity to travel or experience fine dining, I saw wine as not only a fascinating course of study, but my opportunity to explore the world one glass at a time. That visceral experience of standing admist the gallette-strewn vineyards of the Rhone or the steep blue slate hills in the Mosel is something you can experience from your own home and that story and sense of place is something I strive to relay to my guests.
