ChefsFeed Experiences cooking classes are a chance to virtually connect with chefs and bartenders, learn simple cooking tricks and tips, and most importantly, support the culinary community through this difficult time. 100% of ticket sales go directly to the host or their business to help support the hospitality industry. --- A new chapter in chef Camila's popular teen and family class series. This time we will be making Shakshuka, the wonderful Middle Eastern breakfast or brunch recipe that you want to eat at all times of the day. A saucy tomato base with a bit of a kick, to your liking, with eggs gently poached in the middle. To dip or not to dip? That is the question. Chef Camila and her son Bruno have already delighted us with their Frittata and Onigiri classes. This time, they continue their culinary travels around the world with a stop at one of everyone's favorite cuisines. Join and cook along to enjoy the results with your teens/family. Camila is an experienced chef instructor and nutrition consultant based in Barcelona, Spain, with a piece of her heart still in Berkeley, California. She runs Sobremesa, through which she teaches visitors to Spain the delights of regional Spanish and Mediterranean cuisines. Her son Bruno is a teen and he rocks.

Menu detail

Some like to say that if a truly perfect dish exists, it just might be shakshuka. Easy, flexible, comforting and delicious, it also happens to be healthy, inexpensive, and made of easy to find ingredients. You will want to eat it at all times of the day, though it's absolutely ideal for the Sunday brunch we are planning it for. As long as you like eggs and tomatoes, and you have a skillet, you're good to go.
