My Mother Chef Sharon taught me how to cook at age 10 and her grandmother taught her age 10. My mother has been trained in the art of preparing and cooking traditional Caribbean dishes; In turn my Mother trained me. Great-Grandmother trained my mom to trust her instincts and create dishes that displayed creativity and depth. There is so much love for the Islands, the Food and the Culture. We knew we had to create an experience for people to Taste The Tropics.

Menu detail

Jamaican Jerk Pork Meatballs
Appetizer
We want to take you on an adventure with food. That usually entails creating items that present our Jamaican flavors in extraordinary ways. We believe that each Pork Meatball holds an amazing flavor profile. We cook these mouth-watering home style meatballs in a simple sauce. *The real secret is the seasoning process and the Pork marinates overnight.
Roasted Corn
Appetizer
Jerk corn Roasted with a jerk aioli.
Caribbean Red Pea Soup | Warming Winter Meal
Small Plate
Rich and decadent, Jamaican Red Pea Soup (actually made with Red Kidney Beans) is velvety, hearty and has a massive flavor profile. This dish can be made with or without meat.
Traditional Jamaican Jerk Chicken with a BBQ Pineapple Mango Sauce
Entree
With its unique flavors & sensory overload aromas, The jerk pit grill is the ultimate Caribbean BBQ. It’s simply not jerk chicken without allspice, which lends warm notes to the marinade. All of our meats are marinated for 24 hours in homemade jerk marinade.
Coconut Milk Infused Rice & Peas
Entree
“The peas in this aren't really peas at all, but red beans. It is customary in the Caribbean to refer to beans as "peas". This creamy take on rice and peas calls for coconut milk, which adds a distinct richness and sweet aroma to the dish. But the flavor is mild and not overpowering--just enough to give a hint of island flavor. *Served alongside Jerk Chicken*
Jamaican Cabbage Slaw
Small Plate
This is a staple in every Caribbean household. This recipe has many variations. The texture is crunchy and the flavor is bold. It goes great as a side with jerk chicken!
Guinness Stout Punch
Dessert
The Jamaican Guinness Stout Punch is very similar to Irish Moss. Like the Irish Moss the Guinness stout was introduced to Jamaica via the Irish. Also like the Irish Moss drink the Jamaican Guinness Stout Punch is a notorious drink among men (and some women) who seek “vigor”. It is believed “to put lead in your pencil “, “put it back” and boost energy that will lead to an increased libido.
Grilled Pineapple with Vanilla n Rum Ice Cream

Ice cream served on grilled pineapple.
