Just the mere thought of any of Jamaica’s top 10 favourite dishes is enough to make one begin to salivate immediately. That is because the cuisine of our island just has that effect on anyone who samples our multifarious food delights. But more importantly, our interesting mix of peoples from many cultural backgrounds, has had an integral part to play in what we eat and how we prepare these dishes. I'm Chef Christopher and my mother Chef Sharon taught me how to cook at age 10 and her grandmother taught her age 10. I have been trained in the heritage art of preparing and cooking Traditional Caribbean Dishes. Just ponder for a moment, the effect on cuisine left by our ancestors or colonisers from Africa, Spain, France, England and Germany. Today, blending the tastes of these countries with Jamaican dishes is elegantly termed “fusion”, but it has evolved from centuries ago

Menu detail

Boom Boom Prawns | Whole shell-on grilled king prawns, garlic butter & herbs
This dish is Inspired by the tiny village of Middle Quarters, just outside of Black River. They are famous all over Jamaica for one thing - "Pepper Shrimp". Our Interpretation of this classic dish blends old flavors with new techniques for an absolutely mesmerizing experience.
Caribbean Red Pea Soup | Warming Winter Meal

Rich and decadent, Jamaican Red Pea Soup (actually made with Red Kidney Beans) is velvety, hearty and has a massive flavor profile.
The Sunday Macaroni and Cheese Pie

In Jamaica we call it a Macaroni Pie but in America it is called Baked Macaroni & Cheese. The Beauty of this dish is that Macaroni Pies are never exactly the same. The twice cooked macaroni is drenched in egg & cheese and baked to a golden brown crisp. "Macaroni and Cheese Pie is a staple of all good Southern family dinners, church dinners and socials."
Spicy Steamed Cabbage

Cabbage is a chameleon that takes on many different flavors. Purple or Green, makes no difference. We have cooked it down here in a special blend of herbs and spices that will be sure to delight.
Traditional Jamaican Jerk Chicken
Small Plate
With its unique flavors & sensory overload aromas, The jerk pit grill is the ultimate Caribbean BBQ. All of our meats are marinated for 24 hours in homemade jerk marinade.
Coconut Milk Infused Rice & Peas
Small Plate
“The peas in this aren't really peas at all, but red beans. It is customary in the Caribbean to refer to beans as "peas". This recipe uses coconut milk, but the flavor is mild and not overpowering--just enough to give a hint of island flavor. *Served alongside Jerk Chicken*
