Learn the tips & techniques to make this dish with confidence at home along-side James in his San Francisco kitchen. We will go through the ingredients and preparation in detail and prepare this dish in real-time. James will also take questions from the audience. Let's drink some wine together and make carbonara!!
Bucatini alla Carbonara
You can use whatever you have on hand but ideally you will use the following ingredients: -very fresh eggs -coarsely ground black pepper -Pecorino Romano or Parmigiano Reggiano cheese (or a combination of both) -Guanciale (cured pork jowl) or pancetta or bacon -Extra virgin olive oil -Pasta cooking water -Bucatini or Rigatoni pasta
