Hello!

I am the Director and Executive Chef of Plant'ish & Co. Culinary Arts.

As the former Director and Executive Chef for the Adventist Health, Roseville Campus, Vitaliz Café and Culinary Arts, I was at the helm of this dynamic culinary division. From inception, launch and execution, I recruited, trained and led both the front and back of the house team, providing delicious and nutritious plant-based meals for associates and guests at the Adventist Health Corporate Offices. I also led whole plant-based food educational programs and presented demonstrations to encourage associates and guests to incorporate more whole foods in their diets outside of work, receiving rave reviews.

I was the Executive Chef at The Ranch at Live Oak, Malibu, the acclaimed seven-day fitness and wellness bootcamp. I have been an avid proponent of the plant-based lifestyle for over twenty years. My foodservice and beverage background includes; Marriott Group, Hilton Hotels, Baxters, Manhattan Beach, the El Caballo, Oakland, Pure Food and Wine, New York, the Springs Restaurant & Wine Bar, Los Angeles and the Ranch Daily, Los Angeles.

I present all over the world on health, wellness, nutrition and the whole foods plant-based lifestyle. I have developed wellness training programs, organized kitchen operations and collaborated with culinary master gardeners to develop seasonal and garden-to-table recipes and menus.

I am an MBA graduate of Pepperdine University, a graduate of Living Light Culinary Institute, Trinity School of Natural Health, the Natural Gourmet Culinary Institute and I hold a Plant Based Nutrition certificate from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutritional Studies, Cornell.

I became a chef because I love to eat delicious plant-based foods. I started in the kitchen, at the age of eight, with my mother and father (a professional chef, not a plant-based chef) and swore I'd never become a chef, never say never, lol!

I love culinary/chef competitions. In 2019 I was the grand prize winner of the Health Care Culinary contest, sponsored by Health Care Without Harm. In 2020 I won the Food Literacy Center Veggie of the Year Chef Champion contest. Let's see what 2021 has to bring!
