I'm making some of my family's favorite dishes tonight. I would love to share this meal with you in an intimate setting, just like my home back in Jakarta.

Prawns with blanch water spinach (kangkung) served in sambal which is an Indonesian hot sauce made out of shrimp paste, palm sugar, tomatoes, garlic, and shallots.

Juicy braised pork belly cooked in sweet soy sauce. It's a Chinese- Indonesian classic dish, but also loved by the Dutch, as Indonesia was one of Dutch former colonies.
