Terriyaki Hawaiian Burger
Sweet and Savory Burger that will surprise you at how well it works ! Lettuce Red onion Tomato 80/20 ground beef Pepperjack cheese Pineapple sliced into ring Brioche bun Terriyaki sauce Garlic mayo Bacon Slice up your lettuce, onion and tomato as well as your pineapple Run the red onion in ice water for a few seconds. Mix mayo with minced garlic. In a pan cook your bacon on medium high. When the bacon Is done drain the grease and form a baseball sized ball of your beef and smash it down into the pan. Season with salt and pepper and let it cook for a few minutes then flip and let it cook a few more minutes. Start on your pineapple by cooking it on medium - medium high heat, flipping until you get a nice char on each side. When burger is just about done (you can check with a thermometer) top with pepperjack cheese and cover with a lid for a few seconds to melt it. Toast your buns in butter on medium heat in a pan. Wait for the butter to start bubbling then drop in your buns and move them around until toasted. Assemble your burger with garlic mayo, then lettuce, tomato, onion, burger, pineapple and bacon then top with Terriyaki sauce. Enjoy!
Steak Frites Sandwich
This is a Steak sandwich that has so much flavor that leaves your mouth full of tasty experiences You need: French baguette or any similar loaf Strip steak Mushrooms Onion Pepperjack cheese Lettuce Lemon Salt Pepper Butter Garlic Russet potato Frying oil Mayo First thinly slice your potato into shoestring style fries and soak them in ice water, rinsing the starch off until the water comes clean. Soak for at least 30 minutes. Then pat completely dry. Make your sauce by thinly chiffonading lettuce and combining it with mayo and a little minced garlic. Then add lemon juice, salt and pepper. Thinly julienne slice a yellow onion and heat a pan to medium heat with oil and a little butter. Throw in your onion and add a sprinkle of salt and sugar. Once the onion become transparent lower the heat a little, cover, and frequently stir until caramelized. Then heat the pan to medium high and throw in your mushrooms, sautéing them until tender. For the fries heat your oil to 350 in a wide pan. These fries like to bubble so make sure it is a wide pan and you only use a little bit of oil and leave plenty of space within the pan. Fry them until golden brown and hit with salt on a wire rack. Season your steak with salt and pepper and pat dry. Then heat a pan to medium high heat and once hot add your seasoned steak and cook until a nice crust has formed on one side, then render off the fat and flip to the other side. Turn the heat down to medium and add butter and garlic then baste until the internal temp is 135 F Rest on a wire rack and Heat your oven to broil. Throw in your bread until toasted. Assemble with the bottom bread, then lettuce mixture, then mushrooms, then fries, then onion, then steak, then Pepperjack cheese which you can blowtorch to melt or you can stick it back in the oven real quick too. Enjoy! Note: there is a lot of ingredients so it may be hard to cook them all at once to have everything as fresh as possible. Just make sure you cook the fries and steak last. And I’m serious about the oil, do not overfill or use a small pot!
