Crystal has spent her life turning her passions into a palette of diverse professional disciplines. As a Marine & Fisheries Scientist, Seafood Expert, Chef, and Culinary Experience Producer, her lifework focuses on advocacy and activism at the intersections of food, mindfulness, and music. Crystal believes in harnessing the power of inspiration through the culinary arts to create positive and impactful change in our food systems to heal our communities, our land, and our oceans.

A Marine & Fisheries Scientist, Outdoor Educator, Chef, and sustainable seafood expert, Crystal is the Founder of Fish Revolution and has over 16 years of experience creating marine science and culinary experiences. She has learned from and worked with many top Bay Area Chefs including James Beard Award & Michelin Star winners. Crystal recently produced a dinner hosted at the James Beard House with several Chef colleagues focused on honoring the kitchen matriarchs who bring us all the culinary traditions of today.

Crystal is an expert on how your seafood gets from the water to your plate and have a passion for preparing and sharing delicious sustainable food while building guest understanding of our ocean environments, how their seafood choices impact the health of the ocean, and what they can do to help. She hosts local Marine Biology focused field experiences paired with sustainable seafood, seafood focused pop-up dinners and happy hours.
