BIO

Private chef, home cook, foodie extraordinaire. My specialties include Cajun, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai and southern home cooking. I have been cooking in my own kitchen for over 20 years and have always enjoyed sharing meals with friends and family.

Most recently, I helped to open and was the operating partner and concept chef for SING, a fast casual Singaporean-inspired eatery in Houston.

In the past, I've owned and operated a popular Houston area bar & grill and spent some time as a restaurant critic for the Houston Press.

I'm excited to be re-entering the world of Chef Pop-ups with private events and cooking classes in my home, in local restaurants and venues.

Growing up on the coast in southern Mississippi, I was lucky to have blue crabs, shrimp and oysters straight from the gulf. That's where my love for southern comfort and Cajun food comes into play, but Asian food is my passion. Here in Houston, we are fortunate to have access to the same freshness, as well as, markets with a diverse range of ethnic foods and ingredients. Living in this city makes my job pretty easy. Feed you soon!
