Living in California sometimes blurs the lines between seasons. That does not mean we should not celebrate them! This meal reflects the bountiful (and seasonal) produce that California has to offer and utilizes the Italian food philosophy of simplicity when showcasing ingredients. Fennel Red Pepper Caponata with Ricotta and House Made Pickles
Starting off with the full spectrum of flavor and texture, sweet/ savory caponata is paired with tangy crisp pickled vegetables and smooth ricotta. Served on warm baguette.
Baby Greens Salad with Radishes, Feta, Heirloom Tomatoes Dill Vinaigrette
Small Plate
A tangy combination of various radishes and spicy baby mustard greens pairs well with sweet heirlooms in a simple yet oh so satisfying vinaigrette.
Home Made Fettuccine- Pancetta, Green Garlic, Asparagus Two Ways
There is nothing quite like fresh pasta. Cooked in rendered pancetta with white wine, green garlic and asparagus with fresh herbs. The noodles are gently placed over a pillow of Asparagus and ricotta cream.
Almond Plum Cake
With respect to fruit in California, Summer means the shedding of citrus trees to make way for stone fruit! Minimal sugar is added as the plums provide just the right amount of sweetness.
