We Have Noodles is a concept that debuted at Smorgasburg LA showcasing traditional asian noodle dishes with a modern twist.
Chef/Owner Darren Sayphraraj is a LA native and a graduate from UC Irvine. Upon graduation he moved to New York to attend The French Culinary Institute and immersed himself in New York food culture. He has worked in fine dining Michelin starred restaurants most notably: The Modern, The Nomad, and Dovetail. He moved back to LA and held various jobs in the food industry ranging from a R+D Chef for chain restaurants and as a Culinary Manager for Hillstone Restaurant Group.
He combines his New York fine dining experience with asian street noodle sensibility by taking all the best parts of noodle dishes that we know and love and presenting them in a new and interesting way.
Chef Darren has been nominated for Zagat Los Angeles' 30 under 30 culinary minds for 2016.
