BIO

The foundation of my professional cooking career stems from my Sittoo’s (grandmother in Arabic) kitchen in Johannesburg, South Africa. I have taken these intimate life lessons with me as I moved through my career at Atelier Crenn and then Petit Crenn, where I became Sous Chef and later on at Portside Bakery as Assistant Baker. I believe true hospitality and the transcendent power of cooking lies within love, learning, and respect. I would love to continue learning and sharing with you.
