Our biggest event of the year, each Mixology we pick a theme and make cocktails based on that theme, delving into the history, the context, and the ingredients of each drink. Dress sharp and make new friends. This time we're partnering with bartenders Amit Gilad and Jeremy Barrett of the Annex - Green River's sister speakeasy. We'll explore the magical world of Absinthe together! Individual cocktails with hors d'oeurves followed by open bar (and you're welcome to mix your own!)

Classic Absinthe Service

We'll start by talking about the history of Absinthe and demonstrate how it was typically prepared in 19th century Paris. You'll have a chance to channel Toulouse-Lautrec and prepare your own! Featuring the difficult-to-obtain Two James Nain Rouge absinthe.
Hors d'Oeurves

Whipped ricotta with honeycomb & toasted bread. Prosciutto & manchego. Parmesan & herb popcorn.

A refreshing original: with passion fruit, Nain Rouge absinthe, lemon, grapefruit, and mint.
Sazerac

The New Orleans classic. Rye, Peychaud's bitters, Demerara, and a touch of absinthe. Stirred.
Herbsaint Swizzle
Beverage
Exploring the historical absinthe alternatives with something sweet and textured: Herbsaint, Jelinek Fernet, Creme de Menthe, orgeat, egg white, and whipping cream.
