Summer is around the corner and this class has JUST what you need to create the perfect cocktail for you and your guests, suitable for any fun under the sun from Brunch to BBQ's! Toronto based, award winning bartender Evelyn Chick will show you how to use one bottle of gin in FOUR tasty and easy to follow recipes, made with utensils found around the house (no bar tools? no problem!)

Gin SMASH

Easy recipe done in one mason jar! Refreshing, fruity, herbal - pick your own adventure.
Liquids:
2oz Gin (I picked Aviation Gin)
1/2 oz Honey
2oz Soda
Fruit/ Herbs:
1 Lemon
Basil/ Mint or Berries (or both!)
Tools:
1 Mason Jar (500ml)
1 measuring jigger (tablespoon works)
Ice

This cocktail combines 3 of my favourite things - wine, peach and gin! Made again in a mason jar, this is a great way to enhance those beautiful herbal notes in your gin with little added sugar.
Liquid:
1oz Gin ( I picked Aviation)
3oz White Wine (old wine/red wine works too)
1/2oz Lemon Juice
1/2oz Honey
Fruit:
2 wedges ripened peach (frozen works too)
1 sprig mint
Other:
Angostura Bitters (optional)
Tools:
1 Mason Jar (500ml)
Ice
1 measuring Jigger
Gin Ginger Fizz

This frothy, spritz-y beverage is totally customizable! A lil ginger adds a bit of a kick to an otherwise, perfect classic.
Liquid:
2oz Gin
0.75oz Lemon Juice (1 Lemon)
3oz Soda/ Sparkling Water
Fruit/ Herbs:
1 small knob ginger (or 1/4 teaspoon grated ginger)
Other:
1 tablespoon White Sugar
1 egg White
Tools:
Shaker Tin (or a gym bottle/ thermos)
Fine Strainer (tea strainer works)
Measuring Jigger (tablespoon works)
