After a decade in journalism, I decided to pursue my other passion, cooking. I took my first culinary steps in my native Belgium, learning all the basics from my parents and eating my way through most of Europe. After a professional training at Tante Marie's cooking school in San Francisco and a 6-month stint in the pastry department at Nopa, I now work as a cook for hire. My food is seasonal, organic and made from scratch.
