They say April showers bring May flowers - and that is certainly true on our farm. After some pretty big rain storms in April our garden is starting to bloom in earnest. Our big farm move and replanting last year slowed us down a bit for spring harvest, and we've been patiently waiting until we'll be able to finally start putting our own produce on the menu again. This menu will finally be the first that we'll have a good amount of our own vegetables to work with.
This menu will be a multi-course Californian/Mexican feast. You can expect ceviche, homemade tortillas, spicy braised meats, salsas made with our own preserved tomatillos and tomatoes, buñuelos and a lot more.
From our farm, we'll have mustards, arugula, radishes, beets, lettuces and hopefully a few strawberries. We're looking forward to having you at dinner!
Complete menu will be put up one week before the event, when we have a better idea of the best things growing.
Wine will be available for purchase at Frances.
