The Loire Valley in France is a beautiful place. When you visit you can travel down the Loire River, stopping at chateau after chateau and winery after winery. This region is known for its crisp and minerally white wines, but the little known secret is, the red wines of Chinon and Bourgueil are just as magical. We love to do a Loire focussed dinner in the Spring, because all of those fresh green flavors pair perfectly with these wines.
