Farming Hope is the soup kitchen turned on its head - we are a culinary training program that hires transitional homeless folks to garden and cook with the food we grow.
Chef Kevin, Farming Hope co-founder, has staged at Bay Area restaurants including Californios and Chez Panisse. He is influenced by his abuela's cooking and local ingredients. Learn more at farminghope.org

Antojito
Appetizer
Antojitos (translated: Little Craving) is a small snack served as you arrive. Our antojitos are seasonally driven and feature ingredients that are simply, but deliciously prepared.
Sopa de Calabacín
Small Plate
Zucchini is cooked with aromatic garlic, ginger, and oregano. We blend the zucchini to a creamy consistency and garnished with sesame seeds, thinly sliced radish, and extra virgin olive oil.

Elote (Mexican Street Corn) is roasted and smothered in a cilantro cashew crema, ancho chile powder, cayenne pepper, lime zest, and finished with a crumble of cotija
Camote a la Arrachera
Entree
Inspired by the flavors of Mexican skirt steak, sweet potatoes are roasted and rubbed in an arrachera marinade. Served alongside frijoles de la holla (stewed, homestyle beans), nopales, kale slaw, and topped with cashew crema and salsa verde.

A sweet finish that highlights the fruit of the moment, paired with garnishes from our urban gardens.

Our horchata is made entirely from scratch by blending rice, vanilla, Mexican cinnamon, organic cane sugar, and coconut-almond milk together. The flavors steep together for hours before being strained right before we serve it to you.
