Join us for a delicious, plant-based meal with a mission! Our menu is a transformation of seasonal bounty from Imperfect Produce using ancestral Mexican cooking wisdom. We have been testing recipes with our rotisserie and are finally ready to showcase some deliciously caramelized rotisserie vegetables!
Farming Hope is the soup kitchen turned on its head - we are a culinary training program that hires transitional homeless folks to garden and cook with the food we grow.
Chef Kevin, Farming Hope co-founder, has staged at Bay Area restaurants including Californios and Chez Panisse. He is influenced by his abuela's cooking and local ingredients. Learn more at farminghope.org
*Our dishes change based on what’s most fresh and available at Imperfect Produce. The following menu is a guideline of what you will enjoy!
Menu detail

Al Pastor Rotisserie Caulfilower
Entree
Inspired by the flavors of Al Pastor taco vendors in Mexico, we cook heads of cauliflower on our rotisserie with a seasoning blend of Guajillo chiles, Achiote, and pineapple juice. This is served with frijoles de la holla (stewed, homestyle beans), cashew crema, pickled red onions, salsa verde, grilled pineapple, and a fava bean leaf slaw.
Fruta de la Temporada
Dessert
A sweet finish that highlights the fruit of the moment, paired with garnishes from our urban gardens.
Horchata de Coco
Beverage
Our horchata is made entirely from scratch by blending rice, vanilla, Mexican cinnamon, organic cane sugar, and coconut-almond milk together. The flavors steep together for hours before being strained right before we serve it to you.
