Join us for a dinner empowering those in need! Farming Hope is a social enterprise that hires homeless individuals to garden and cook with the food we grow. We're partnering with Feastly to do regular pop-up meals where our employees will help cook meals with guest chefs. Chef Kevin M., co-founder of Farming Hope, will be cooking Mexican inspired cuisine featuring seasonal produce from our gardens. Please join us and celebrate our mission through communal dining! Menu detail

Flame Grilled Cactus Tostada with Tomatillo Salsa
Appetizer
We grill fresh nopal (cactus), saute white onion and roma tomato and serve on freshly made tostadas. Garnished with tomatillo salsa and cotija cheese.
Butternut Squash Soup
Small Plate
Butternut squash is simmered with aromatics and coconut cream then blended to a smooth consistency. Garnished with spiced pumpkin seeds and extra virgin olive oil.
Purple Potato, Green Tomatillo Enchiladas with Mexican Crema
Entree
A twist on my childhood favorite meal - we grate purple potatoes and saute them with onions and turmeric. This makes the filling for the enchiladas that are sauced with green tomatillo salsa and garnished with shredded lettuce, Mexican crema, cotija cheese, and minced white onion.
Caramelized Sweet Potato with Vanilla Ice Cream
Dessert
Slices of sweet potato are cooked with piloncillo (Mexican unrefined cane sugar) and cinnamon. Served with piloncillo syrup, a scoop of Straus vanilla ice cream, and freshly made almond granola.
Black Lychee Iced Tea
Beverage
One of our favorite iced teas that we have available at our farmers' market stand - black lychee tea is iced and sweetened with pomegranate juice and agave.
