About the chef: Daniela’s food journey began in after-school cooking classes when she was only five. After moving from Mexico to the U.S. as a teen, she enrolled in her career high school’s culinary program and was recruited to work at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott at age 15. She has cooked and staged at a variety of restaurants in Texas, New York, and Europe. At 24, Chef Enrique Olvera (Pujol, Eno) asked her to become chef de cuisine of New York’s Cosme. In 2016 at the age of 25, Daniela was honored with the James Beard Rising Star Chef of the Year award. *Must be 21+ to enter.
