Brandon Kirksey

After receiving a Culinary Arts degree, Brandon spent time traveling and cooking in Italy, Korea, Seattle and San Francisco. At his pop-up, Anju Bar, you'll find him cooking up interpretations of classic Korean dishes using modern techniques and cultural perspective. Moe's passion for Asian cuisines has led him to create a pop-up that combines Japanese, Thai, Indonesian or Chinese influences with his Middle Eastern Background. (1) Indonesian/Thai: oxtail caramelized dry curry over rice, nam Jim sauce, fried shallots and herbs (basil, mint and cilantro) (2) Middle Eastern: lamb and butternut squash dumpling, cumin, Berber tomato sauce, mint yogurt, brown butter.
