Francis Mendoza:
Born and raised in Cotabato City. Francis Mendoza's main inspiration was his Grandmother who was a home economics professor. He was always surrounded by her Jacques Pepin cookbooks and often visited her classroom to watch her cook.

Francis came to the US at the age of 20 to New Jersey, and quickly immersed himself into East Coast food and culture. After working in health care for 12 years. He decided he wanted to get into cooking professionally. Francis relocated from New Jersey to San Francisco, CA and enrolled in City College of San Francisco's culinary program.

He has worked in various parts of the industry from food trucks, fine restaurants and now currently serving as a line cook at Pinterest SF.

Kris Ancheta:
Born and raised in the San Francisco-Bay Area, Kris Ancheta gained a large interest in food from his family. His parents were always busy going to work, but always made sure there was dinner ready for Kris and his siblings.

Growing up he watched his parents cook filipino food and was always hungry by the smell. By the time he was old enough to use the stove and a knife, he learned how to make rice and instant ramen.

After graduating high school. Kris decided to enroll in San Francisco's California Culinary Academy.

His industry experience ranges from Catering, Food Trucks and Fine Dining. He is now currently a Line Cook at Pinterest SF.

Nik Johnson:
Nikolos Johnson was born in Port Arthur, TX and raised in Stone Mountain, GA. He attributes most if not all of his culinary skills to being born and raised in the south where he learned how to cook from his family.

Beginning at a young age, the men and women in his family taught Nikolos valuable lessons in the kitchen. These lessons encouraged him to attend Culinary School at the Art Institute of Atlanta, and to continued to gain experience working in various fine dining restaurants throughout Atlanta, Ga. Nikolos has had a lifetime of passion for cooking as well as teaching others to cook.

A valuable kitchen lesson that he learned from his grandmother and great aunts is that
