Sequoia Sake Company is the first local artisan Sake microbrewery in San Francisco. They set out to create a style of sake that is easy to drink and enjoy. Their sake is Junmai, this means they only use four simple ingredients: Water (from the glacier-carved Yosemite water-shed), Rice (grown in the Sacramento valley), heirloom Koji and native sake Yeast.
