This dinner is the perfect marriage of flavors -- sweet, fruity, savory, floral, and nutty. It's like a mini trip to my roots, with a Mediterranean-inspired menu presenting the high notes of summer. We use fresh produce from farmer markets and small farms to really showcase the season.

Carrot Salad
Small Plate
Carrot and sultanas salad tossed with California Chardonnay and orange blossom vinaigrette.
Mahlap Sesame Rings / Kandil Simidi
Rose and geranium-infused homemade, strained yogurt with pistachios and dry rose petals. It is ring-shaped and coated in sesame seeds, flavored with mahleb, an aromatic spice made from ground cherry seeds.
Stuffed Mussels
Small Plate
Aromatic rice and herb stuffed mussels with spicy paprika sauce, lime juice and cilantro.
Swordfish Kabap
Tart Cherry & Soy sauce marinated Swordfish, shrimp, cremini mushroom and red bell pepper Kebab. On the side lemon Orzo with Spring Peas & Mint pesto.
Honey Greek Yogurt Cheesecake
Leblebi (roasted chickpeas) cookie crust, with fresh figs and rum soaked fig sauce, pollen and piece of honeycomb.
