Hiro Sone is an author and chef/co-owner of Terra Restaurant. He trained under legendary French chefs like Paul Bocuse, Pierre Troisgros, and Joel Robuchon. His restaurant has received the DiRona Award every year since 1994. In 2000, he merited the Robert Mondavi Culinary Excellence Award. The James Beard Foundation awarded him as 'Best Chef in California' in 2003.
