This meal is my take on the traditional Chinese dumpling! There's something fun and magical about the first bite of a piping hot dumpling, fresh from the frying pan. They are the perfect bite-- crispy skin wrapped around a juicy, umami rich filling. As a Bay Area native and Oakland girl at heart, my go to flavors are decidedly Chinese with a California twist, with just a sprinkle of Oakland, to keep things interesting.
