Pork & Beef Meatballs
There are quite a few mistakes that can be made when making meatballs, but after spending the afternoon with Chef Joe, you will be able to confidently make meatballs! Did someone say meatballs and mozzarella? Stringy, cheesy goodness - stuffed inside of Chef Joe’s famous family Meatball recipe.
Egg Dough
Prior to the lesson, you’ll receive video links to Chef Joe making the dough with a stand mixer and by hand. You’ll have a personal guide through the entire dough making process. Rolling out pasta dough by hand is a laborious process - but one with very satisfying ends. Get out your rolling pin, because we are going old school during this lesson. Chef Joe will demonstrate how to use a mattarello (italian rolling pin) for sheeting pasta.
Red Gravy
Chef Joe's family recipe for red sauce. Whether you call it gravy, marinara, or red sauce, you'll end the day as an honorary member of the Sasto family.
