We are switching things up for the month of April! Rather than hosting a large, one-way livestream, Chef Joe wanted to make his private, virtual one-on-one (video conferencing) lessons more accessible to everyone. This is your chance to spend some FACETIME directly with Chef Joe, working on your techniques, your dough and pasta making, and asking questions directly in real time! A variety of dates, times, and lesson formats - choose the one that best suits your schedule. Each workshop will be a little different depending on the pace and direction the group would like to go in. EACH WORKSHOP HAS EXTREMELY LIMITED AVAILABILITY! This is to ensure that each session stays small, personal, and intimate. Allowing Chef Joe to troubleshoot any problems you might come across in your pasta making journey. The flour & water dough workshop will focus on making everything by hand and won’t require any special tools or kitchen equipment. We will be making the dough together in real-time and Chef Joe will be able to see you and guide you through the process. While your dough rests - its time for PESTO! This is not your everyday basil pesto, instead Chef Joe is going to share and teach his technique for making a perfect pesto everytime, regardless of what blend of herbs, greens, seeds or stems you want to incorporate. Afterwards - it’s time for pasta shapes, think - cavatelli, pici, and orecchiette. This is perfect for ALL-SKILL LEVELS. Please note - this will be hosted on a live and private Google-Meet video conferencing room. Everyone is encouraged to turn on their video, unmute their microphone, make pasta & friends. Pesto doesn’t need to be complicated. This condiment will focus more on the technique than the ingredients, and allow everyone to substitute whatever herbs or greens they have available, learning the tips and tricks to a vibrant, bright, and herbaceous green treat.

"Cavatelli" translates to "little hollows", "Orecchiette" means "little ears", and "Pici" roughly translates to "thick spaghetti".
