We’ll be milling different varieties of barley into flour using a table-top grain mill and making barley orecchiette from start to finish. Students will practice shaping orecchiette and get to take home the pasta they make in class. Barley breeder Pat Hayes will be joining us to share his knowledge! After class there will be a family style pasta dinner with orecchiette as the main course.
