ChefsFeed Experiences cooking classes are a chance to virtually connect with chefs and bartenders, learn simple cooking tricks and tips, and most importantly, support the culinary community through this difficult time. 100% of ticket sales go directly to the host or their business to help support the hospitality industry. --- In celebration of one of the world’s most ancient wine and cheese making traditions, join me and Giuseppe Carrus, wine writer for Gambero Rosso and take a virtual class on Sardinian Wine, Cheese, Honey and Bread. Did you know that: Wine was made in Sardinia 3,000 years ago and is one of the first wines recorded? Red wines are considered to be an essential part of the long life Sardinians live? The Cannonau grape has 10 times more polyphenols than other red wines? Pecorino Romano is a Sardinian cheese and that 80% of all Romano is still made on the island? This will be an introductory class, which will be followed with a real virtual tasting in July. In the follow-up class, all participants will receive a cheese and wine box to taste along with us! In Sardinia we say, "Pan’e, Casu e Binu a Rasu" or "Bread, Cheese and Wine to the brim." Special Guest stars will be joining our Symposium as well. See you there!
