Drawing inspirations from America’s coasts, Co-Executive Chefs Jennifer Jackson and Justin Tootla abide by seasonal seafood availability to craft creative, yet nostalgic and familiar cuisine at Voyager in Ferndale, MI recent recipient of Food and Wine's Best New Restaurant 2018. Jackson grew up in Athens, GA, where her grandmothers' cooking imbued in her the Southern styles she incorporates into her food today. Born and raised in Birmingham, MI, Tootla learned his way around the kitchen from his mother teaching him the bounty of the Midwest while his father taught him the food of his Indian Culture.
