ChefsFeed Experiences cooking classes are a chance to virtually connect with chefs and bartenders, learn simple cooking tricks and tips, and most importantly, support the culinary community through this difficult time. 100% of ticket sales go directly to the host or their business to help support the hospitality industry. --- Join award-winning Kasa Indian Eatery co-founders Anamika & Suresh Khanna for an interactive livestream lesson that will walk you step by step through Kasa’s signature Chai. Chai is blowing up across the country, but for first or second-generation Indians, it's a daily ritual no morning is complete without. The 35-minute course will teach you how to make Kasa's signature 'BEST CHAI IN SF'. A bold, lightly sweetened tea with freshly ground healing spices that’s a delicious way to kickstart your day (and impress your friends). All proceeds are donated to SF New Deal & Dine11 SF to help continue the great work of feeding our vulnerable communities. (Includes Written Recipe and Ingredients List) ------------------ Chef Anamika Khanna is a British-born, lawyer-turned-mother-turned-chef who moved to San Francisco in 2000. Her restaurant, Kasa Indian Eatery, is on a mission to make the vibrant flavors eaten in Indian households part of the mainstream American palette. Kasa has been featured on the Food Network and won multiple awards for its fresh and authentic take on homestyle Indian food.

Prepare to be inducted into the cult of Chai. Once you get a taste for it, it's hard to go back to normal tea. Kasa’s signature Chai is marked by its bold floral spices and it’s milky sweet taste. The lesson will go through two variants of Chai. The first is the Kasa in-store recipe, which is characterized by its sweeter and deeper flavor, and the second is more of a daily homebrew that’s lighter and quicker to make.
