Hearty Appetizers and Wine Pairing Class feat. Windchaser Wine Co. (20% of proceeds donated to "Feed The Line")
Join me and Bay Area winemaker Dave Gifford of Windchaser Wine Co. for a fun night of interactive cooking, great food, and delicious wine. **To partake in this experience, you'll need the two bottles of wine! If you're in the Bay Area and able to pick up the wines at Windchaser winery in Berkeley, please visit https://www.windchaserwinestore.com/s/shop and purchase the discounted "Cooking with Kelly" pack of the two wines for $49. If you're not local, please email email@example.com directly and he will set you up with flat-rate shipping.** We’ll start by opening one of the wines and pouring ourselves a glass to enjoy while we cook (Dave and I both firmly believe that it's just as important to drink wine while cooking as it is while eating.) Then I’ll guide you through how to make a couple simple and delicious appetizers. Once we’re done cooking, it’s time to eat and drink! We’ll sit down with the tasty food we just made and Dave will share more about the two wines that he chose to pair with the apps. To top it off, 20% of proceeds will be going to a great cause! "Feed the Line" connects struggling restaurants with front-line hospital workers, so that both sides can benefit in a time of need. Check it out here: feedtheline.org ** Attendees only need to purchase one ticket per household **
