BIO

We are Ryo Sakai and Cory Jackson — two San Francisco based chefs with 35 years combined experience working in Japanese cuisine.

We're finally taking a plunge and opening our first restaurant together on the corner of Polk and Post. With construction underway, we're looking to test dishes and seek feedback on what will ultimately be offered at Kuma Sushi + Sake later this spring. Hope to see you there!
