I love Cooking, but kinda hate baking...all that measuring, drives me crazy. As a non baking chef, my banana chocolate chip bread pudding with a cinnamon rum sauce is my go to dessert. It’s decadent & delicious and people always ask for the recipe. We don’t really measure and it’s damn near impossible to mess up. Join me and let’s get out hands messy. Ingredients: Dessert! This is the actual RECIPE however, we are going on taste and not really using measurements, don’t worry, haha. This is more of a guide of how much you need to have lying around your house ;) 1 loaf Brioche or crusty bread (it can totally be a bit stale) 1 cup chocolate chips or chopped up chocolate bar 1 or 2 bananas 2 1/2 cups cream or half and half 1 cup sugar 6 large eggs 4 large egg yolks Salt Vanilla extract if ya have it 13x 9 baking dish (but really any baking dish is fine) 1 large-ish bowl to mix ingredients Whisk or fork, no big deal Skillet 2 sticks unsalted butter 1 cup dark brown sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon Salt And a little bit o rum (or whiskey!)
