In this series, we will showcase Eastern Mediterranean home cooking with mezes and main dishes that grandma would make.
We want to offer a home-cooked meal, no frills, just good flavor for a fun, comforting yet adventurous weeknight.

Seasonal entree, Mussel pilaf

Stuffed mussels are some of the most common street food in Istanbul year-round. We take the predominant flavors from this decadent treat and incorporate it into an entree. Aged basmati pilaf cooked with mussel broth and seasoned with cinnamon, allspice, black pepper, dill, currants and pine nuts.

In the spirit of changing the menu as often as we can, we want to keep this dessert flexible. We have served penna cottas, argan oil chocolate cakes with tahini ice cream, baklavas served like millefeuilles with pastry cream, rice pudding with burnt honey crumble.
