Come learn some basic cooking fundamentals, while chopping away with our community. We will be sharing our mindful cooking practices and encouraging creative personal cooking styles.
All ingredients are locally and seasonally sourced contributing to the local businesses, you will get to try new recipes and prepare some traditional dishes from Chef Lee’s background and travels.
We will all get involve and finish with a community family-style meal.

Roasted Sumac Acorn Squash Wedges

Acorn Squash roasted and baked in olive oil seasoned with Sumac- a middle eastern flower has a sweet-sour flavour.
Roasted Pumpkin Seeds, Butter-lettuce Pomegranate Fresh Salad

Farmer's market lettuces, sumac toasted pumpkin seeds. Served with a finely chopped mint vinaigrette and pomegranate.
Garlic, Lemongrass Rice Pilaf

Lemongrass and garlic infused rice, influenced by mamas from South Africa.
Miso Glazed Mushroom, Grilled Potato Tahini Flatbread
Entree
Flatbread made from scratch, grilled rustic potatoes and miso-glazed portobello mushroom and a parsley tahini spread. All ingredients are locally sourced and seasonally picked out.
Orange Peel Cardamom Dark Chocolate Cookies

Fall flavours of orange peel combined with Middle Eastern and Indian popular cardamom spice cookies with San Francisco Guiradelli dark chocolate cookies.
