I cook because I am obsessed with food. I traveled to Spain in undergrad and fell in love with everything related to the culinary world, including wine!(I have my level 1&2 sommelier certification). I love to see people happy and conversing over food. Everyone needs it.

I'm a certified sous chef with the American Culinary Federation. Worked for well known Denver Restaurant group 'Edible Beats' at Linger Eatuary. Managed multiple frozen yogurt concepts throughout Colorado including Red Mango and Menchies. Recently started my own catering and personal chef business called 'Mezcla Maggie,' and also became a personal trainer.

I've come a long ways in the past few years, career wise especially. I was never so happy as when I could create a menu based off the ingredients that were available in the fridge and cupboard. While I was managing a small cafe/deli, one of my employees found a few random ingredients in the cooler and asked 'what are we going to do with these?' And she looked at me and said 'why am I even asking? You'll figure it out!' - that's a great feeling!
