The transition from Winter into Spring lends itself to so much poetry, invoking dreams out of the roots of Winter into the lightness of Spring. I am using two ingredients available now, artichoke and asparagus, as a window into the essences between the light, bright and dreamy, and the earthy, rich, full-bodied.
