BIO

Marcello De Feo, a first generation Italian from South Philly, began paying his due in kitchens at a young age.

After decades of restaurant experience, he opened Valente's to bring traditional Abruzzese cuisine to South Jersey. The shop quickly received acclaim, winning Best of Philadelphia (Philly Mag), Best Specialty Sandwiches (SJ Magazine), Best of the Best (SJ Magazine), and named one of the 13 Best Cheese Shops in Philadelphia.

He has since formed Allora Hospitality to open Valente's Cucina, and co-found Founder & Signer.
